
Head Coach Tom Callahan
Coach Callahan
graduated from Pope High School where he played baseball and football. He
attended the University of Georgia where he received his undergraduate degree in
Social Science Education. He received his masters in School Administration from
Jacksonville State in Alabama and his Specialist in Educational Leadership from
Georgia College and State University. After a year at Clarke Central, he came
to North Cobb where he teaches Social Studies, primarily US History. This will
be his fourteenth year at the school and in the baseball program. He is
currently in his sixth year as head coach of Varsity leading the team to the
state playoffs in 2006 and 2007 and to the final four in 2008. Prior to being
named head coach, he served as a Varsity assistant coach and JV head coach. He
has also coached football for eight years and slow-pitch softball for three.
He and his wife, Heidi, have a son, Griffin, born in April 2009.
